The supporters of TSV Bäumenheim booed when Gemünden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Eschenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hendrik Pechmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrad Skrentny. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Conrad Skrentny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Pechmann in the 13th minute of play. Conrad Skrentny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hendrik Pechmann went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gregor Stoffmehl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, TSV Bäumenheim's Günther Menzel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Gregor Stoffmehl notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of TSV Bäumenheim's Willibert Hengemühle. Willibert Hengemühle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bastiaan Keßler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Bäumenheim's Willibert Hengemühle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrad Skrentny was a little too slow when Erwin Türkmen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gregor Stoffmehl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Willibert Hengemühle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gemünden FC's Billy Staratschek pulled a muscle in his leg after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Günther Menzel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Gregor Stoffmehl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Willibert Hengemühle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ulrik Demele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemünden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrik Demele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willibert Hengemühle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd match minute, Gemünden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Demele to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Stoffmehl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Willibert Hengemühle made a huge save. After 82 played minutes Gemünden FC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Odenthal. When Asbjörn Karger came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the TSV Bäumenheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asbjörn Karger couldn't finish the play. Gemünden FC's Conrad Skrentny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Pechmann in the 87th minute of play. After 89 played minutes TSV Bäumenheim got a freekick which was hit by Sean Knöpfel. After having played for 91 minutes, Gregor Stoffmehl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gemünden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Stoffmehl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gemünden FC's Ulrik Demele suffered a sprained foot after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Günther Menzel fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV Bäumenheim's protests and gave Günther Menzel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TSV Bäumenheim getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Günther Menzel hit a great ball. Waldemar Barkhausen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. TSV Bäumenheim were victorious despite being under pressure from Gemünden FC for much of the match.
