Karsten Schertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulus Wienecke having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match, Hans Pankotsch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ralf Heiß saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rio Grundl kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The wind increased when Hans Pankotsch made the kick off in the second half. Bankholzen's Mark Galeski suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 54 minutes into the game, Gordon Knappe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D.S.I Eichenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bankholzen the free kick. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. D.S.I Eichenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Pankotsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joshua Warth kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Willi Theunissen fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bankholzen's protests and gave Willi Theunissen a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave D.S.I Eichenberg a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gordon Knappe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bankholzen's Ralf Heiß. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eduard Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bankholzen's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulus Wienecke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Köffer struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Ralf Heiß didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for D.S.I Eichenberg. The Bankholzen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
