Paulus Wienecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Bresack in the 61st minute of the match. D.S.I Eichenberg's Paulus Wienecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Kwast in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hans Pankotsch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilhelm Blecken. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. If Johannes Köffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmus Viehl hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When the match was over D.S.I Eichenberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herriehausen throughout the match.
