Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Mutten FC's Viktor Ortkemper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eckard Kunzmann in the 4th minute of play. Arnold Senekowitsch might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppo Diebitsch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnold Senekowitsch ran back to his position shaking his head. Gernot Breddermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppo Diebitsch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Arnold Senekowitsch made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trabzonspor's Beppo Diebitsch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktor Ortkemper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckard Kunzmann in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Eckard Kunzmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute Eckard Kunzmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Ortkemper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes, Mutten FC's Norbert Rau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppo Diebitsch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mutten FC reached it. If Gernot Breddermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trabzonspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mutten FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eckard Kunzmann was the one to do the kick off. Arnold Senekowitsch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppo Diebitsch having to make a save. When Mutten FC's Gernot Breddermann in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pierre von Stahl, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th minute, Dankward Trienekens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Ortkemper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Beppo Diebitsch got control of the ball when Arnold Senekowitsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Reiner Grenzhäuser. Arnold Senekowitschs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Beppo Diebitsch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gernot Breddermann succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Arnold Senekowitsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernot Breddermann in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppo Diebitsch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnold Senekowitsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Beppo Diebitsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernot Breddermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppo Diebitsch having to interfere.
