The audience thought a goal was coming when Hendrik Pechmann got free with Ricky Reiser in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 minutes, Friedrich Blenke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wilde Meute and the TSV Bäumenheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, FC Wilde Meute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Friedrich Blenke to maneuver through the defense. If Asbjörn Karger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Wilde Meute fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, FC Wilde Meute's goalkeeper Ricky Reiser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asbjörn Karger. Thomas Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FC Wilde Meute's Ricky Reiser got control of the ball when Asbjörn Karger tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Wilde Meute's attentive Fritz Sabath managed to snatch the ball when Waldemar Barkhausen made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Waldemar Barkhausen threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Wilde Meute's Friedrich Blenke quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pär Erhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pär Erhart to strike the kick off in the second half. If Thomas Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Werner struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Willibert Hengemühle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wilde Meute. Günther Menzel charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Günther Menzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wilde Meute's zone, Hendrik Pechmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Reiser came out of the goal and Hendrik Pechmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Hendrik Pechmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricky Reiser. FC Wilde Meute's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hendrik Pechmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ricky Reiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asbjörn Karger in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Hendrik Pechmann notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Wilde Meute's Ricky Reiser. Ricky Reiser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of TSV Bäumenheim booed when FC Wilde Meute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Sabath didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wilde Meute's zone, Asbjörn Karger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Reiser came out of the goal and Asbjörn Karger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hendrik Pechmann came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the TSV Bäumenheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hendrik Pechmann couldn't finish the play. Asbjörn Karger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ricky Reiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of FC Wilde Meute's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Wilde Meute may have spent more time on the ball, but TSV Bäumenheim were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
