Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudio Flöge took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Günther Menzel made a precise shot to the right of Luis Hommertgen. Schötmar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Willibert Hengemühle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Flöge's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Willibert Hengemühle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermann Bierholz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Herwig Cavic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schötmar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV Bäumenheim the free kick. After having played for 16 minutes, Claudio Flöge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schötmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Flöge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claudio Flöge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willibert Hengemühle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Flöge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Küpper-Adebisi got free with Willibert Hengemühle in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Schötmar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Julius Vielhaber hit a great ball. Willibert Hengemühle made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Joachim Küpper-Adebisi sent off a good shot on target. Luis Hommertgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asbjörn Karger in the 31st minute of play. Willibert Hengemühle was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Claudio Flöge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Flöge really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Pechmann in the 36th minute of play forced Schötmar's goalkeeper Luis Hommertgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Küpper-Adebisi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Willibert Hengemühle made a huge save. TSV Bäumenheim's Willibert Hengemühle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Bierholz in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hendrik Pechmann was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Bäumenheim's zone, Joachim Küpper-Adebisi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willibert Hengemühle came out of the goal and Joachim Küpper-Adebisi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Asbjörn Karger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Hommertgen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hendrik Pechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luis Hommertgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willibert Hengemühle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Bierholz in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes TSV Bäumenheim got a freekick which was hit by Reinhart Riegert. In the 68th minute Claudio Flöge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willibert Hengemühle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, TSV Bäumenheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Türkmen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Joachim Küpper-Adebisi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willibert Hengemühle was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Claudio Flöge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, TSV Bäumenheim's Erwin Türkmen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Hommertgen. Luis Hommertgen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Hendrik Pechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luis Hommertgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Herwig Cavic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joachim Küpper-Adebisi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hendrik Pechmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Luis Hommertgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Schötmar's goalkeeper Luis Hommertgen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günther Menzel. Louis Vogler hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Claudio Flöge made a precise shot to the right of Willibert Hengemühle. TSV Bäumenheim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
