MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Köffer in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Pankotsch in the 12th minute of play forced MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidelio Pehr's late challenge caught a D.S.I Eichenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidelio Pehr helped the player get up and apologised. Fidelio Pehr kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Johannes Köffer managed to get in a good position for a shot. D.S.I Eichenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Köffer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Vielmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Köffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sven Vielmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Jannick Strack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to D.S.I Eichenberg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Piero Behling hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hans Pankotsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Vielmann was relentless in the 40th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jannick Strack to strike the kick off in the second half. With 56 minutes on the clock, Abdel Johannsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MÜNCHEN LIONS! MÜNCHEN LIONS's Sven Vielmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save MÜNCHEN LIONS from getting a goal against them. Johannes Köffer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, D.S.I Eichenberg's Sven Stachowsky got a free kick in the 68th minute. Hans Pankotsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sven Vielmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Pankotsch might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Vielmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Pankotsch ran back to his position shaking his head. Mattis Hantusch kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in D.S.I Eichenberg's zone, Ernst Sauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulus Wienecke came out of the goal and Ernst Sauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Vielmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Pankotsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Vielmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Pankotsch in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, D.S.I Eichenberg's Johannes Köffer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Vielmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 98 minutes into the match, MÜNCHEN LIONS's goalkeeper Sven Vielmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Köffer. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MÜNCHEN LIONS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
