Christian Goldblum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Kwast, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergej Altmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Blecken having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Kubin in the 70th minute of play forced Herriehausen's goalkeeper Wilhelm Blecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biesen FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
