The referee ignored Vfl Pfullingen's protests and gave Mark Rott a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of messi club booed when Vfl Pfullingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Rott didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Fridun Lambert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Siegfried Kanoneks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Vfl Pfullingen's goal looked a bit too open when Fridun Lambert came free, but Timofej Bopp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Rott hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Neo Unsöld was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fridun Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Timofej Bopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siegfried Kanoneks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Timofej Bopp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sierk Kirch charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sierk Kirch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sierk Kirch kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Kappius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Edwin Wegmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timofej Bopp. Vfl Pfullingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Wegmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hartmut Hewing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Gohmert hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Karsten Fuchs made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Hartmut Hewing sent off a good shot on target. Axel Gohmert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timofej Bopp having to interfere. Siegfried Kanoneks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fridun Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timofej Bopp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siegfried Kanoneks's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. A collision led to Vfl Pfullingen getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mo Boschmann hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in messi club's zone, Hartmut Hewing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karsten Fuchs came out of the goal and Hartmut Hewing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Dariusz Tebeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridun Lambert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Siegfried Kanoneks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. messi club had played much better football throughout.
