The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jürgen Wiemer during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FSV Thale 22 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jürgen Wiemer hit a great ball. Johannes-Markus Bix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Stein in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Ubbo Dohrmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Vielmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, FSV Thale 22's Johan Poß nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Vielmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AgGrO BeRlIn's zone, Johan Poß stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Vielmann came out of the goal and Johan Poß tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erling Stein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Johannes-Markus Bix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FSV Thale 22's Johannes-Markus Bix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FSV Thale 22 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Poß in the 32nd minute of play forced AgGrO BeRlIn's goalkeeper Paul Vielmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, AgGrO BeRlIn's Steven Bouffier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes-Markus Bix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Paul Vielmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubbo Dohrmann in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Stein got free with Johannes-Markus Bix in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steven Bouffier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Johannes-Markus Bix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johan Poß to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FSV Thale 22's Jürgen Wiemer got a free kick in the 56th minute. Johan Poß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Vielmann having to interfere. Johan Poß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, FSV Thale 22's Ubbo Dohrmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Vielmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ubbo Dohrmanns short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Paul Vielmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th minute, Steven Bouffier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FSV Thale 22 booed when AgGrO BeRlIn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Herlitizius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubbo Dohrmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erling Stein in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes-Markus Bix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FSV Thale 22 played a much better game than AgGrO BeRlIn and deserved their victory. The AgGrO BeRlIn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
