Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Dunningen's Norbert Heimeier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Kay Gosch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gernot Beutin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Dunningen's Gernot Beutin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lasse Frühauf in the 7th minute of play. Gernot Beutin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Derow in the 8th minute of the match. FC Dunningen's Kevin Descharmes got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Ernst Bobbert got free with Gernot Beutin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Heimeier in the 14th minute of play forced Suffköpp's goalkeeper Heiner Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lasse Frühauf might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gernot Beutin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lasse Frühauf ran back to his position shaking his head. When FC Dunningen's Kevin Descharmes in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suffköpp's goalie prevented a goal. Fritz Ernst Bobbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gernot Beutin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernot Beutin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 21st minute. When Lasse Frühauf fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suffköpp's protests and gave Lasse Frühauf a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Dunningen booed when Suffköpp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Frühauf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes FC Dunningen got a freekick which was hit by Günther Radbruch. In the 27th minute, Roland Busch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Adrian Derow took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gernot Beutin to make any attempt to save it. Fritz Ernst Bobbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Gernot Beutin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Dennis Sipple fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suffköpp's protests and gave Dennis Sipple a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Dunningen booed when Suffköpp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Sipple didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onno Herdzik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Heiner Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Suffköpp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Sipple to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Helmut Herter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heiner Hoffmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 51st minute of play forced FC Dunningen's goalkeeper Gernot Beutin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Adrian Derow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dunningen's Gernot Beutin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Derow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritz Ernst Bobbert took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gernot Beutin. Gernot Beutin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 67th minute, Clemens Breitbücher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Lasse Frühauf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suffköpp's supporters rose to their feet, but Lasse Frühauf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernot Beutin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gernot Beutin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kay Gosch went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Gernot Beutin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Suffköpp's Lasse Frühauf. But to his dismay, Lasse Frühauf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Heiner Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dunningen's Kevin Descharmes. But to his dismay, Kevin Descharmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Suffköpp had won after a very even match.
