In the 13th minute, FC Eintracht Frankfurt's Oskar Wengenroth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Suffköpp's Lasse Frühauf pulled a muscle in his leg after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 16 minutes, Leif Carl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Eintracht Frankfurt and the Suffköpp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leif Carl kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes FC Eintracht Frankfurt got a freekick which was hit by Finn Strerath. Marvin Stumm came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Suffköpp's Adrian Derow. But to his dismay, Adrian Derow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leif Carl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Gless could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Heiner Hoffmann made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Heiner Hoffmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute, Oskar Wengenroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Gunter von Treeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suffköpp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Eintracht Frankfurt the free kick. In the 47th match minute, FC Eintracht Frankfurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Strerath to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Suffköpp's Heiner Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Wengenroth in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Emilio Gless made a precise shot to the right of Heiner Hoffmann. Suffköpp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of Suffköpp booed when FC Eintracht Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Carl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Ernst Bobbert got free with Marvin Stumm in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marvin Stumm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 62nd minute. Adrian Derow struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Marvin Stumm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suffköpp. FC Eintracht Frankfurt's Marvin Stumm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Eintracht Frankfurt from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, FC Eintracht Frankfurt's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Derow came free, but Marvin Stumm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Eintracht Frankfurt's Marvin Stumm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Eintracht Frankfurt from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Suffköpp's Niels Hahn got a free kick in the 74th minute. Emilio Gless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Adrian Derow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suffköpp's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Derow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marvin Stumm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marvin Stumm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Derow in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Danes in the 85th minute of play forced FC Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Marvin Stumm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Wengenroth's late challenge caught a Suffköpp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Wengenroth helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Eintracht Frankfurt getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Oskar Wengenroth hit a great ball. The FC Eintracht Frankfurt support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
