The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Heimeier to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes F.C. If Norbert Heimeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Steinke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Heimeier's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Norbert Heimeier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Steinke having to make a save. Marco Steinke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Descharmes in the 98th minute of play. F.C. Prishtina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
