After 20 minutes of play Ghostdevil Fc's Rodrigo Halke was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rodrigo Halke hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ghostdevil Fc's zone, Johan Poß stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Rössle came out of the goal and Johan Poß tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Rössle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Poß, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of FSV Thale 22 booed when Ghostdevil Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Lensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Poß in the 33rd minute of play forced Ghostdevil Fc's goalkeeper Norbert Rössle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubbo Dohrmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Norbert Rössle made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Ghostdevil Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Poß came free, but Norbert Rössle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Johan Poß came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FSV Thale 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Poß couldn't finish the play. Pitt Busshoff took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Rössle. Norbert Rössle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Norbert Rössle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Poß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FSV Thale 22 fully deserved thier win.
