Spectators: 5701 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norbert Heimeier kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in SPVGG Oelde's zone, Kevin Descharmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mika Hoersch came out of the goal and Kevin Descharmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolai Bauer in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernot Beutin saved FC Dunningen from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Graham Gessinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gernot Beutin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hendrik Freudenberger during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roland Busch hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Graham Gessinger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gernot Beutin made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Felix Gütermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dunningen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPVGG Oelde the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Dunningen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Gernot Beutin, was totally fooled by SPVGG Oelde's Hendrik Freudenberger, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Norbert Heimeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mika Hoersch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Heimeier in the 43rd minute of play. Kevin Descharmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolai Bauer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC Dunningen's Norbert Heimeier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 56 minutes into the game, Egon Frigger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 61 played minutes SPVGG Oelde got a freekick which was hit by Levan Bartels. Kevin Descharmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mika Hoersch having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Roland Busch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Graham Gessinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernot Beutin having to interfere. Norbert Heimeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, one of FC Dunningen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Dunningen. Gernot Beutin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolai Bauer in the 93rd minute of play. Mika Hoersch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Heimeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
