Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adrian Derow started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute of the match, Ubbo Dohrmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Heiner Hoffmann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute, Jürgen Wiemer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Osmers during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Suffköpp got a freekick which was hit by Marc Osmers. In the 11th minute Adrian Derow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes-Markus Bix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 12th minute of play forced FSV Thale 22's goalkeeper Johannes-Markus Bix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FSV Thale 22's Johannes-Markus Bix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 13th minute of play. Adrian Derow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johannes-Markus Bix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Jürgen Wiemer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Thale 22's zone, Fritz Ernst Bobbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes-Markus Bix came out of the goal and Fritz Ernst Bobbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubbo Dohrmann hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Suffköpp's goalkeeper Heiner Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jürgen Wiemer. FSV Thale 22 were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Suffköpp's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Heinrich Wendlandt took the corner. The corner ended in Heinrich Wendlandt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Suffköpp's Heiner Hoffmann did a great save. Heiner Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubbo Dohrmann went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Suffköpp's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Poß came free, but Heiner Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Derow in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes-Markus Bix saved FSV Thale 22 from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johan Poß made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubbo Dohrmann in the 51st minute of play forced Suffköpp's goalkeeper Heiner Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Ubbo Dohrmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Thale 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubbo Dohrmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Johan Poß came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FSV Thale 22 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Poß couldn't finish the play. Heiner Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FSV Thale 22's Pitt Busshoff. But to his dismay, Pitt Busshoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With his leg Johannes-Markus Bix managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Suffköpp's Fritz Ernst Bobbert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johan Poß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jürgen Wiemer took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heiner Hoffmann. Heiner Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Lasse Frühauf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Johannes-Markus Bix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adrian Derow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johannes-Markus Bix was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Heiner Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubbo Dohrmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Johan Poß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fritz Ernst Bobbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Johannes-Markus Bix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Suffköpp booed when FSV Thale 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pitt Busshoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kay Gosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, FSV Thale 22's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Ernst Bobbert came free, but Johannes-Markus Bix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Derow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alois Heiermann kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Suffköpp's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
