SV Bechtolsheim's Danilo Schollmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioannis Fensch in the 27th minute of play. Danilo Schollmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Zuydtwyck in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Jonathan Zuydtwyck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Schollmeyer. In the 45th minute, Franz Domröse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simeon von Waffenstein charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simeon von Waffenstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Besken to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bechtolsheim's zone, Jonathan Zuydtwyck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Schollmeyer came out of the goal and Jonathan Zuydtwyck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Ioannis Fensch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Danilo Schollmeyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Zuydtwyck in the 80th minute of play forced SV Bechtolsheim's goalkeeper Danilo Schollmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Schollmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioannis Fensch in the 81st minute of play. Finn Köhnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
