When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Lazarus Blumentritt sped through SV Bechtolsheim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Danilo Schollmeyer. Danilo Schollmeyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Georg Wulfmeier went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lazarus Blumentritt made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Lazarus Blumentritt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hofen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Bechtolsheim the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Lazarus Blumentritt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Hofen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Besken came free, but Klemens Bilstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Alfons Pohl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Schollmeyer. SV Bechtolsheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Pohl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
