Helmut Herter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ghostdevil Fc's Walther Flaht got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Kevin Descharmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Norbert Heimeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dunningen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Heimeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Philip Giehl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ghostdevil Fc's Norbert Rössle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Heimeier in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, FC Dunningen's goalkeeper Gernot Beutin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kuno Lammert. Norbert Heimeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Rössle having to interfere. If Philip Giehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Philip Giehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernot Beutin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Descharmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Norbert Heimeier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norbert Rössle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half FC Dunningen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Ghostdevil Fc's Philip Giehl in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dunningen's goalie prevented a goal. Gernot Beutin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Giehl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Frigger kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Norbert Heimeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Kuno Lammert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dunningen's Gernot Beutin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
