Prishtina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Steinke should have stopped the shot. After 9 played minutes Suffköpp got a freekick which was hit by Niels Hahn. 13 minutes into the match, Dan Mühlenbruch notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Suffköpp's Heiner Hoffmann. Heiner Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Suffköpp booed when F.C. Prishtina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Weninger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Steinke acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adrian Derow. 24 minutes into the match, Dan Mühlenbruch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heiner Hoffmann. Suffköpp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Mühlenbruch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Ernst Bobbert got free with Marco Steinke in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Derow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Steinke having to interfere. In the 31st minute Kay Gosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Steinke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, F.C. Prishtina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Sack to maneuver through the defense. If Fritz Ernst Bobbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. Prishtina's Jakob Sack got a free kick in the 35th minute. Adrian Derow scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Steinke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lasse Frühauf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Steinke having to interfere. Kay Gosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Steinke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kay Gosch ran back to his position shaking his head. Lasse Frühauf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Marc Osmers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Marco Steinke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Suffköpp booed when F.C. Prishtina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Isele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Derow to make the kick off. Fritz Ernst Bobbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Steinke having to interfere. Marco Steinke came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Suffköpp's Kay Gosch. But to his dismay, Kay Gosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 78 minutes into the game, Suffköpp's Lasse Frühauf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Derow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Steinke having to interfere. When Kay Gosch came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Suffköpp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kay Gosch couldn't finish the play. Marco Steinke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Ernst Bobbert in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Suffköpp booed when F.C. Prishtina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Sack didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Steinke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Derow in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Suffköpp had played much better football throughout.
