Gernot Beutin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Heiner Hoffmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roland Busch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. FC Dunningen's Gernot Beutin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kay Gosch in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Derow in the 34th minute of play forced FC Dunningen's goalkeeper Gernot Beutin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Dunningen getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Clemens Breitbücher hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Descharmes got free with Heiner Hoffmann in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Dunningen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Helmut Herter in the 39th minute. Gernot Beutin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Derow in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Fritz Ernst Bobbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernot Beutin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Lasse Frühauf charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Lasse Frühauf came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Suffköpp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lasse Frühauf couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Derow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gernot Beutin. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Fritz Ernst Bobbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernot Beutin having to interfere. Gernot Beutin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrian Derow showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. Kevin Descharmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiner Hoffmann having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fritz Ernst Bobbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suffköpp's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Ernst Bobbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernot Beutin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Busch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiner Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Adrian Derow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiner Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Descharmes in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Adrian Derow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suffköpp's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Derow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernot Beutin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Dunningen's Roland Busch got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fritz Ernst Bobbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernot Beutin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Derow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fritz Ernst Bobbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gernot Beutin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Suffköpp's Gernot Beutin threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Derow, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Suffköpp's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
