In the 11th minute, Heinrich Magath made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Langhammer. Großenhain FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Leon Balland made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Thielemann. Eden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Eden's Torsten Thielemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Marek in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Großenhain FC booed when Eden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Eggerking didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Hubert Wilke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Link recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Leon Balland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Thielemann. Eden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Balland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 35 played minutes Großenhain FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Marek. Henrik Link in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kevin Langhammer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Großenhain FC's Kevin Langhammer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Behrisch in the 40th minute of play. Eden's Henrik Link got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rudi Behrisch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Langhammer was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Torsten Thielemann came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Großenhain FC's Leon Balland. But to his dismay, Leon Balland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudi Behrisch made a kick off. A collision led to Großenhain FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Klaus Kullig hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Großenhain FC's Gunther Rapp got a free kick in the 58th minute. Kevin Langhammer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Behrisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Henrik Link shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Langhammer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kevin Langhammer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudi Behrisch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Rudi Behrisch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Großenhain FC's Kevin Langhammer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Großenhain FC's Volker Röhner got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Rudi Behrisch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Langhammer was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Henrik Link fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Langhammer having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Eden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Kuhl to maneuver through the defense. Although Eden had been in control for most of the match, Großenhain FC still came away with the win.
