Dietmar Pollan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when August Gahler sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, werder bremen's Dietmar Pollan got control of the ball when August Gahler tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Sebastian Gögge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. werder bremen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Allagen the free kick. After a rather tough play, werder bremen's Sebastian Gögge got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Allagen getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Raphael Max hit a great ball. Sebastian Gögge kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Finn Schweer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but werder bremen's Dietmar Pollan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Finn Schweer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Finn Schweer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Allagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finn Schweer couldn't finish the play. Gregor Gers kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dietmar Pollan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finn Schweer in the 41st minute of play. Bertram Kardell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Siegmund Au tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Achtziger charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Achtziger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albert Achtziger kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertram Kardell made a kick off. Siegmund Au made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Achtziger in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Allagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Schweer to maneuver through the defense. Siegmund Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Kardell in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to werder bremen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Domingo Bartels hit a great ball. With a little luck, Allagen's Siegmund Au got control of the ball when Albert Achtziger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Siegmund Au made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Kardell in the 68th minute of play. August Gahler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Gögge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Au having to interfere. Raphael Max's late challenge caught a werder bremen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Max helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Raphael Max hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Kardell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siegmund Au having to interfere. Albert Achtziger took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siegmund Au. Siegmund Au dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dietmar Pollan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Gahler, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Pawel Unsöld's late challenge caught a werder bremen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pawel Unsöld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Pawel Unsöld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Allagen's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Kardell came free, but Siegmund Au reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siegmund Au made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sebastian Gögge sent off a good shot on target. werder bremen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
