Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudi Behrisch kicked off to start the match. Torsten Thielemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brenk. Hektor Niesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Thielemann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hektor Niesen in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Thielemann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Stummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Behrisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Lars Bast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Thielemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Bast in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Eden booed when Brenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Schmidtschaff didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, Eden's Ludwig Riesenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Stummer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eden reached it. In the 45th match minute, Brenk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Schmidtschaff to maneuver through the defense. Ludwig Riesenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Stummer. Brenk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tobias Stummer made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Henrik Link sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Bast to strike the kick off in the second half. Henrik Link might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Stummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Link ran back to his position shaking his head. Lars Bast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Thielemann having to interfere. Lars Bast's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Thielemann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Eden's Torsten Thielemann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Eden from getting a goal against them. Torsten Thielemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bast in the 62nd minute of play. Torsten Thielemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bast, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Lars Bast suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 68 minutes, Ingmar Kröpelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eden and the Brenk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingmar Kröpelin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
