Timo Jung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Eberl's late challenge caught a Conweiler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Eberl helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sascha22322 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Axel Eberl hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Gordon Komp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Sturz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Conweiler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf Frieden to maneuver through the defense. Sascha22322's Till Rexhaus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Conweiler. Gordon Komp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Herbert Sturz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Ludger Humbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conweiler and the Sascha22322 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herbert Sturz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Till Rexhaus. After 20 played minutes Conweiler got a freekick which was hit by Ludger Humbert. Otis Franz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Frank Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Ackermann struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Herbert Sturz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sascha22322. Emanuel Ackermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Herbert Sturz made a huge save. Timo Jung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Lange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Conweiler's zone, Emanuel Ackermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Sturz came out of the goal and Emanuel Ackermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otis Franz made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Conweiler's goalkeeper Herbert Sturz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herbert Sturz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Ackermann's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Patrick Bankett charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Bankett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Conweiler got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Bankett. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ackermann in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Sturz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gordon Komp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Sturz having to interfere. Emanuel Ackermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Sturz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Komp in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Gordon Komp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gordon Komp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Herbert Sturz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Patrick Bankett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Emanuel Ackermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gordon Komp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Conweiler booed when Sascha22322 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Annen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
