But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilja Donnerbauer couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Markus Hofmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Moses Kohnen managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when FC Wursthausen's Dennis Prinz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moses Kohnen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Freddy Altmeier. Dennis Prinz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Moses Kohnen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moses Kohnen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Hofmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, FC Wursthausen's Dennis Prinz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moses Kohnen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of FC Wursthausen booed when Spreewerder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Lötzsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Altmeier's late challenge caught a Spreewerder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Altmeier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Spreewerder booed when FC Wursthausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Altmeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Gerhard Jarosch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wursthausen and the Spreewerder players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, FC Wursthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerhard Jarosch to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Spreewerder getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lothar Lötzsch hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Wursthausen defense, Romed Rudolph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ullrich Schmid. The FC Wursthausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ullrich Schmid should have stopped the shot. Ullrich Schmid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Donath in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dennis Prinz struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Moses Kohnen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wursthausen. FC Wursthausen's Freddy Altmeier got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Freddy Altmeier off the ground. Freddy Altmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Romed Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerhard Jarosch was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Martin Lüthje kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rainald Baumeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Kohnen having to interfere. If Rainald Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dennis Prinz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Spreewerder booed when FC Wursthausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Frenne de didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Luis Donath got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Wursthausen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
