Sixten Pluhm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sascha22322. If Gordon Komp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Eberl in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Pluhm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes VFC Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Milan Kapke. Sixten Pluhm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Komp went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gordon Komp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sixten Pluhm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Emanuel Ackermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Pluhm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gordon Komp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sixten Pluhm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Nikolaus Reimers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VFC Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sascha22322 the free kick. 32 minutes into the game, one of VFC Leipzig:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gordon Komp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sascha22322's Chris Kehr got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frank Lange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clint Schims's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Holger Sachse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clint Schims was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, VFC Leipzig's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Komp came free, but Sixten Pluhm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, VFC Leipzig's goalkeeper Sixten Pluhm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ackermann. Gordon Komp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sixten Pluhm managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Sascha22322's Emanuel Ackermann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Sascha22322's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Sachse came free, but Frank Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes, Axel Eberl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sascha22322 and the VFC Leipzig players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Ackermanns short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Sixten Pluhm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gordon Komp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Pluhm having to interfere. Clint Schims struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Frank Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VFC Leipzig. 77 minutes into the match, Sascha22322's Emanuel Ackermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Pluhm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nikolaus Reimers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of VFC Leipzig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sascha22322:s goal. A collision led to Sascha22322 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Chris Kehr hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Rolf Wering left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VFC Leipzig fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 87 played minutes VFC Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Milan Kapke. 93 minutes into the match, VFC Leipzig's goalkeeper Sixten Pluhm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ackermann. Gordon Komp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Pluhm having to interfere. Sascha22322 played a much better game than VFC Leipzig and deserved their victory. The VFC Leipzig players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
