After 15 minutes of play, 1 FC Kaiserslautern's Pascal Silen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Lange was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, 1 FC Kaiserslautern's goalkeeper Lev Kuhr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ackermann. Lev Kuhr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Komp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, 1 FC Kaiserslautern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Krumpen to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes of play, 1 FC Kaiserslautern's Pascal Silen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Lange was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Kehr during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Chris Kehr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, 1 FC Kaiserslautern's Joseph Petsch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Lange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Ackermann got free with Lev Kuhr in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl Krumpen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Silen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Ackermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sascha22322's Frank Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Silen in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, 1 FC Kaiserslautern's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Komp came free, but Lev Kuhr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Krumpen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Axel Eberl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sascha22322's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1 FC Kaiserslautern the free kick. After 68 played minutes, Sascha22322's Till Rexhaus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lev Kuhr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sascha22322 reached it. Gordon Komp scored 2-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lev Kuhr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 1 FC Kaiserslautern's Lev Kuhr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Komp in the 75th minute of play. If Emanuel Ackermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 81st minute of the match Chris Kehr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chris Kehr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 82nd match minute, Sascha22322 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Kehr to maneuver through the defense. If Gilles Reitgaßl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacek Wesseler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Frank Lange when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frank Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Silen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gilles Reitgaßl managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1 FC Kaiserslautern's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilles Reitgaßl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Lange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sascha22322's Frank Lange got control of the ball when Gilles Reitgaßl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
