Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Markus Hofmann started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Fortuna Fresh's zone, Markus Hofmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Kohn came out of the goal and Markus Hofmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boris Kohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Prinz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Yannik Lorent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSV Fortuna Fresh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wursthausen the free kick. Yannik Lorent kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Boris Kohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Prinz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the FSV Fortuna Fresh defense, Rainald Baumeister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Kohn. The FSV Fortuna Fresh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Kohn should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the game, FSV Fortuna Fresh's Felix Jarowoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ullrich Schmid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 19th match minute, FC Wursthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Altmeier to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FSV Fortuna Fresh booed when FC Wursthausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Koppelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes FSV Fortuna Fresh got a freekick which was hit by Iso Bonin. In the 29th minute, Markus Hofmann made a precise shot to the right of Boris Kohn. FSV Fortuna Fresh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Gerhard Jarosch notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FSV Fortuna Fresh's Boris Kohn. Boris Kohn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Markus Hofmann fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wursthausen's protests and gave Markus Hofmann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FSV Fortuna Fresh booed when FC Wursthausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Hofmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Markus Hofmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Kohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boris Kohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhard Jarosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. FSV Fortuna Fresh's Boris Kohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Prinz in the 45th minute of play. Boris Kohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainald Baumeister in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Jarowoy to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Wursthausen's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Burmeister came free, but Ullrich Schmid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes FC Wursthausen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Jarowoy who took care of the corner kick. Boris Kohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Prinz in the 55th minute. When FC Wursthausen's Markus Hofmann in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FSV Fortuna Fresh's goalie prevented a goal. Ullrich Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Jarowoy in the 58th minute of the match. Boris Kohn made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dennis Prinz sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Markus Hofmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boris Kohn. Markus Hofmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Rainald Baumeister charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rainald Baumeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rainald Baumeister hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Markus Hofmann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boris Kohn. The goal made the score 1-7. In the 81st minute Markus Hofmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Kohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, FSV Fortuna Fresh's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Prinz came free, but Boris Kohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wursthausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Prinz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Wursthausen's Rainald Baumeister got a free kick in the 96th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Felix Jarowoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Fortuna Fresh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Jarowoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Wursthausen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
