Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Safet Burgmeier in the 5th minute of play forced Rickelhausen FC's goalkeeper Otfried Hauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Ornecka Fighters's goalkeeper Angel Friess had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurij Sänger. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Robert Vogelsang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rickelhausen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Vogelsang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Friess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Finn Ohmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rickelhausen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornecka Fighters the free kick. Finn Ohmer hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Conny Jäckel succeeded in the game's 11th minute to get real power on a long shot . Rickelhausen FC's Otfried Hauser hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! When Rickelhausen FC's Jurij Sänger in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ornecka Fighters's goalie prevented a goal. Knud Lemmerz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Otfried Hauser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornecka Fighters. The supporters of Ornecka Fighters booed when Rickelhausen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clint Sauter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jurij Sänger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Safet Burgmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ornecka Fighters's supporters rose to their feet, but Safet Burgmeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otfried Hauser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudi Throm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rickelhausen FC's Otfried Hauser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Köppe in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Safet Burgmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Rickelhausen FC's goalkeeper Otfried Hauser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Safet Burgmeier. Otfried Hauser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Safet Burgmeier went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Clint Sauter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Ornecka Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Knud Lemmerz. With a little luck, Rickelhausen FC's Otfried Hauser got control of the ball when Safet Burgmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rickelhausen FC's Robert Vogelsang got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clint Sauter charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clint Sauter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Finn Ohmer got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Ornecka Fighters booed when Rickelhausen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Ohmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Safet Burgmeier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Otfried Hauser skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jurij Sänger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Jurij Sänger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rickelhausen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurij Sänger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ornecka Fighters walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
