But to his dismay, Ole Quint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute Johann Schurwanz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Wulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinhart Ruben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rainer Wulf made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Borsum's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Rehmer came free, but Mattis Chamisso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattis Chamisso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olaf Rehmer went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mattis Chamisso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Quint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattis Chamisso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Rehmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Alfons Rehmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olaf Rehmer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gräfingd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
