After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Reinhart Ruben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borsum's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinhart Ruben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyler Henning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Borsum's Reinhart Ruben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tyler Henning made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Johann Schurwanz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyler Henning having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Reinhart Ruben put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tyler Henning. Tyler Henning stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornelius Weiers's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Felipe Hepp kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Cornelius Weiers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Bvb got a freekick which was hit by Mirko Burzloff. Sönke von Scheliha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tyler Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattis Chamisso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Appenrodt in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conni Filippek to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Johann Schurwanz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johann Schurwanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arko Ruthus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arko Ruthus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Sönke von Scheliha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sönke von Scheliha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Appenrodt struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Mattis Chamisso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bvb. Reinhart Ruben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tyler Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Conni Filippek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattis Chamisso. Borsum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conni Filippek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, Bvb's goalkeeper Tyler Henning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinhart Ruben. Tyler Henning didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinhart Ruben went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Bvb booed when Borsum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeus Menger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borsum's Amadeus Menger suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 94th minute, Tobias Rittel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinhart Ruben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tyler Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Bvb got a freekick which was hit by Iker Auerbach. When the final whistle sounded Borsum left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bvb.
