Ari Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Bartholome in the 22nd minute of play. Tim Wanders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tim Wanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Wanders's late challenge caught a VolleFrischeBreitseite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Wanders helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Ostentrop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Wanders to maneuver through the defense. In the 31stth minute of the game Tim Wanders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VolleFrischeBreitseite's Jakov Otto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ostentrop booed when VolleFrischeBreitseite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Dahlinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Johannes Honold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostentrop's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Honold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakov Otto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Dahlinger during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ostentrop played a much better game than VolleFrischeBreitseite and deserved their victory. The VolleFrischeBreitseite players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
