Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hertha Bunde's Albert Diebold started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerold Gottwald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matti Renn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Hertha Bunde's goal looked a bit too open when Matti Renn came free, but Gerold Gottwald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerold Gottwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matti Renn in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ole Quint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Gottwald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gräfingd's Matti Renn in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hertha Bunde's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute Darius Zabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Gottwald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerold Gottwald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Quint in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ole Quint in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerold Gottwald saved Hertha Bunde from getting behind. Hertha Bunde's Gerold Gottwald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matti Renn in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Alfons Rehmer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hertha Bunde's Gerold Gottwald. Gerold Gottwald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nils Franke made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Darius Zabel immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Matti Renn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerold Gottwald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ole Quint in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerold Gottwald saved Hertha Bunde from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Hendrik Gersdorff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gräfingd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Gerold Gottwald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matti Renn went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ole Quint made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Gräfingd's Matti Renn made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerold Gottwald was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Hertha Bunde defense, Alfons Rehmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerold Gottwald. The Hertha Bunde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerold Gottwald should have stopped the shot. Gerold Gottwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Rehmer in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Hertha Bunde's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Rehmer came free, but Gerold Gottwald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Gräfingd's Ole Quint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerold Gottwald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When Alfons Rehmer came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gräfingd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Rehmer couldn't finish the play. Gerold Gottwald made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Matti Renn sent off a good shot on target. Ole Quint scored 0-9 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerold Gottwald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerold Gottwald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Quint in the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gräfingd's Ole Quint slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerold Gottwald. That made the score 0-10 after 85 minutes of play. Gerold Gottwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Rehmer in the 90th minute of play. Gerold Gottwald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Quint in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Matti Renn notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Hertha Bunde's Gerold Gottwald. Gerold Gottwald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 98 minutes into the game, Matti Renn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerold Gottwald. Matti Renn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. The Hertha Bunde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gräfingd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
