Spectators: 6200 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hundeort FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hülsenbusch the free kick. A collision led to Hundeort FSV getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Marc Blask who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Tittmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gabriel Martinek kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Christo Ost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrich Karp having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Christo Ost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulrich Karp was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Ulrich Karp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnd Benken, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Hundeort FSV's Theo Baltermanns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulrich Karp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 30th minute Christo Ost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Karp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnd Benken took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrich Karp. Ulrich Karp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hundeort FSV's Gabriel Martinek got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Gabriel Martinek off the ground. In the 42nd minute, Helko Hundt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Hülsenbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Thees to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Kort Bowermann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulrich Karp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Marc Blask managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hülsenbusch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Blask was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Hundeort FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theo Baltermanns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Hundeort FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christo Ost to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Theo Baltermanns ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulrich Karp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 68 minutes into the game, Arnd Benken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulrich Karp. Arnd Benken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 77 minutes into the game, Arnd Benken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hundeort FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hülsenbusch the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hundeort FSV's Arnd Benken got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Hülsenbusch's goal looked a bit too open when Christo Ost came free, but Ulrich Karp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Hundeort FSV's Theo Baltermanns made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulrich Karp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulrich Karp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christo Ost in the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hundeort FSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
