Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hamburg Suns's Melchior Deicke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hamburg Suns's Oskar Vogeler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fenerbahce Istanbul. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamburg Suns's Melchior Deicke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ullrich Northe. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. If Melchior Deicke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Hamburg Suns's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Fuchtel came free, but Heiner Nafz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ullrich Northe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchior Deicke, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Wolf Fuchtel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balthasar Piechocki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ullrich Northe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balthasar Piechocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ullrich Northe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ullrich Northe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchior Deicke's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Balthasar Piechocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ullrich Northe made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Hamburg Suns's Melchior Deicke ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ullrich Northe. Ullrich Northe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 59th minute, Melchior Deicke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchior Deicke might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ullrich Northe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchior Deicke ran back to his position shaking his head. Balthasar Piechocki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ullrich Northe having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchior Deicke in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ullrich Northe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchior Deicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ullrich Northe having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Melchior Deicke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ullrich Northe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ullrich Northe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchior Deicke went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ullrich Northe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchior Deicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Finn von Stetten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahce Istanbul and the Hamburg Suns players grew even worse after the yellow card. Finn von Stetten kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Balthasar Piechocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ullrich Northe having to interfere. If Balthasar Piechocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Hamburg Suns's goalkeeper Heiner Nafz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Dieckmann.
