Willi Vollberg had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Hayden Kwon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 33 minutes into the game, FC Vojvodistan's Hayden Kwon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willi Vollberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Heinrich Baader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Voßhoff having to interfere. In the 38th minute Eckhardt Harnack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Voßhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hassan Dettmann came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the KSV Hessen Kassel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassan Dettmann couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes, KSV Hessen Kassel's Harry Michels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saul Voßhoff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. KSV Hessen Kassel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eckhardt Harnack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
