Bertil Töpfer was slow to take the kick. During this time ORDU UNITED's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Seesteraudeich getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Helmut Menzel hit a great ball. The supporters of Seesteraudeich booed when ORDU UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Ebbenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Herrndorf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Veit Guddorf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. The supporters of Seesteraudeich booed when ORDU UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bokan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paul Halfpape had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Herrndorf was a little too slow when Christof Niklas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Bernhard Rödling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Juan Lienert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wim Terwiesche was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When Paul Halfpape came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Seesteraudeich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Halfpape couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paul Halfpape made the kick off in the second half. If Paul Halfpape had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 played minutes Paul Halfpape rounded ORDU UNITED's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Helmut Menzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wim Terwiesche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Halfpape's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wim Terwiesche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Jan Bokan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORDU UNITED and the Seesteraudeich players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ludwig Appenzeller made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seesteraudeich's Helmut Menzel. If Helmut Menzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Rödling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wim Terwiesche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmut Menzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Terwiesche having to interfere. Anton Ebbenga struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Johannes Herrndorf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORDU UNITED. Paul Halfpape fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Terwiesche having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Seesteraudeich's Paul Halfpape slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wim Terwiesche. That made the score 2-2 after 89 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erich Balzer during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Seesteraudeich got a freekick which was hit by Erich Balzer. In the 97th minute, Helmut Menzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, ORDU UNITED's Bertil Töpfer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Seesteraudeich were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
