In the 19th minute, Wilhelm Heine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tristan Haslbeck. The goal made the score 1-1. Horum FC's Tristan Haslbeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Horum FC from getting a goal against them. Thilo Knorr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Lewe in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siegmund Mohler in the 25th minute of play forced Großschwamborn's goalkeeper Thilo Knorr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Jörg Friedhoff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paul Bökelmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Haslbeck having to make a save. Großschwamborn's Paul Bökelmann got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Lewe in the 32nd minute of play forced Großschwamborn's goalkeeper Thilo Knorr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Horum FC's goalkeeper Tristan Haslbeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörg Friedhoff. Wilhelm Heine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Haslbeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Wilhelm Heine struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tristan Haslbeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Großschwamborn. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Horum FC!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Heine to make the kick off. Wilhelm Heine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Haslbeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Jörg Friedhoff came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Großschwamborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörg Friedhoff couldn't finish the play. Thilo Knorr came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Horum FC's Siegmund Mohler. But to his dismay, Siegmund Mohler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Wilhelm Heine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tristan Haslbeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörg Friedhoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Haslbeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörg Friedhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jörg Friedhoff came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Großschwamborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörg Friedhoff couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Bastian Lewe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thilo Knorr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Großschwamborn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Bastian Lewe scored to the left of an out of position Thilo Knorr, making the score, 2-3. Wilhelm Heine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Haslbeck having to interfere.
