Spectators: 7440 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 40) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niklaus Schwarzfischer got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Lucien Wächter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Amelung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Wächter scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Amelung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Lotter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklaus Schwarzfischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Werdohl's Lovis Diekelmann managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Helmuth Seppmann in the 19 minute of the game. Paulo Lotter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklaus Schwarzfischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Günter Baumann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Lotter having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Lotter saved Werdohl from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Köchingen's Niklaus Schwarzfischer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Lotter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Niklaus Schwarzfischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Rudolf Kau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Köchingen and the Werdohl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Köchingen's Rudolf Kau got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Della to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Lotter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Kalvelage in the 54th minute. Marc Myszka hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fritz Burkart made a great header on Köchingen's corner, it was just that Werdohl's Paulo Lotter managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Lotter saved Werdohl from getting behind. Paulo Lotter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 69th minute of the match. Paulo Lotter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklaus Schwarzfischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Paul Amelung stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Della's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The Werdohl fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Werdohl's Hernan Della looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Günter Baumann's late challenge caught a Werdohl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Günter Baumann helped the player get up and apologised. Günter Baumann hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Werdohl's goal looked a bit too open when Vicco Wesseler came free, but Paulo Lotter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 83rd minute of play forced Werdohl's goalkeeper Paulo Lotter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Köchingen's Paul Amelung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Della in the 86th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Köchingen got a freekick which was hit by Vicco Wesseler. After some careless play in the Köchingen defense, Hernan Della kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Amelung. The Köchingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Amelung should have stopped the shot. Fritz Burkart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Lotter. Werdohl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Niklaus Schwarzfischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Köchingen's Paul Amelung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Della in the 96th minute of play.
