The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jukka Fensch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Mischa Pahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Ringels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Ringels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mischa Pahl in the 8th minute of the match. Hugo Heinrich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Günther Ringels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bonifatius Berkowitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Schachmatt Kickers's goalkeeper Claas Pesch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jukka Fensch. Claas Pesch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Rüffer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Bonifatius Berkowitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Claas Pesch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SV Leezdorf's Günther Ringels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Heinrich in the 33rd minute of play. Schachmatt Kickers's Mischa Pahl got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifatius Berkowitz to make the kick off. Jukka Fensch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claas Pesch having to interfere. Claas Pesch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifatius Berkowitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Bonifatius Berkowitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claas Pesch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Armin Rüffer fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Leezdorf's protests and gave Armin Rüffer a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mischa Pahl in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Günther Ringels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SV Leezdorf's Elmer Neubert got a free kick in the 67th minute. Günther Ringels made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Hugo Heinrich sent off a good shot on target. Mischa Pahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claas Pesch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jukka Fensch in the 77th minute of the match. If Hugo Heinrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Heinrich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Günther Ringels made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, SV Leezdorf's goalkeeper Günther Ringels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Heinrich. SV Leezdorf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
