An unexpectedly hard shot by Mischa Pahl in the 23rd minute of play forced SV Sandhausen's goalkeeper Joachim Deckert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Mischa Pahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Deckert. SV Sandhausen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mischa Pahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mischa Pahl got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Joachim Deckert handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Daecher in the 35th minute of play forced Schachmatt Kickers's goalkeeper Claas Pesch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, SV Sandhausen's goalkeeper Joachim Deckert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Heinrich. Joachim Deckert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mischa Pahl in the 42nd minute of the match. Claas Pesch came out of the goal and Sascha Kebeis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Schachmatt Kickers's Claas Pesch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Kebeis in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Daecher got free with Claas Pesch in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claas Pesch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sascha Kebeis in the 92nd minute of the match. Mischa Pahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Deckert having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SV Sandhausen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Schachmatt Kickers.
