Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Theo Balzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Potulski having to interfere. August Ballas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rolf Potulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Hein, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Wohlerst FC's Rochus Partsch got a free kick in the 17th minute. Raphael Schneider took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolf Potulski. Wohlerst FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Niederleuken's zone, Arnold Häberle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Effertz came out of the goal and Arnold Häberle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Ballas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dominik Effertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Niederleuken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Schlagbauer to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Ballas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Effertz saved Niederleuken from getting behind. If Arnold Häberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Hein in the 32nd minute of play forced Wohlerst FC's goalkeeper Rolf Potulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Theo Balzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niederleuken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Balzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wohlerst FC's Georg Rückert got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rolf Potulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Balzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Robert Goldkuhle fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niederleuken's protests and gave Robert Goldkuhle a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burkhardt Ohme during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. August Ballas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Balzer to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Pavel Hein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niederleuken and the Wohlerst FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Niederleuken getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pavel Hein hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Hein got free with Rolf Potulski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, August Ballas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wohlerst FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 65th minute August Ballas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Effertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Niederleuken booed when Wohlerst FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolaus Kleppinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Potulski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Pavel Hein sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Rochus Partsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wohlerst FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sievert Baumgarten hit a great ball. The long shot by Raphael Schneider in the 78th minute really tested Rolf Potulski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pavel Hein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niederleuken's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Hein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Potulski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnold Häberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Effertz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wohlerst FC's August Ballas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Wohlerst FC booed when Niederleuken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Goldkuhle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominik Effertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Höhle in the 94th minute of play. Arnold Häberle took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Effertz. Dominik Effertz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Wohlerst FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Niederleuken for a fine match.
