Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Özcan Gebert fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köchingen's protests and gave Özcan Gebert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Köchingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özcan Gebert to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Au took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Amelung. Köchingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Günter Baumann during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Günter Baumann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Kalvelages short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Ehrhard Gehlhaar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Günter Baumann got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 19th match minute, Köchingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günter Baumann to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's Ferdinand Au shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Amelung came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballspiel-Verein Preußen reached it. After 21 played minutes Köchingen got a freekick which was hit by Vicco Wesseler. Ehrhard Gehlhaar came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Köchingen's Richard Kalvelage. But to his dismay, Richard Kalvelage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Richard Kalvelage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Erik Reuscher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Kalvelage scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ehrhard Gehlhaar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fritz Burkart kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot 42 in the game by Richard Kalvelage from a close distance when the talented Ehrhard Gehlhaar managed to make a qualified save. Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 43rd minute of play forced Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's goalkeeper Ehrhard Gehlhaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklaus Schwarzfischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ehrhard Gehlhaar having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Kalvelage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Richard Kalvelage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ehrhard Gehlhaar having to interfere. Richard Kalvelage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ehrhard Gehlhaar having to make a save. Ehrhard Gehlhaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Kalvelage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ehrhard Gehlhaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Kalvelage, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Köchingen's zone, Arnd Schätzle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Amelung came out of the goal and Arnd Schätzle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richard Kalvelage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Kalvelage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 78th minute of play forced Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's goalkeeper Ehrhard Gehlhaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Ballspiel-Verein Preußen got a freekick which was hit by Erik Reuscher. In the 81st minute, Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's Arnd Schätzle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Ehrhard Gehlhaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Kalvelage, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Arnd Schätzle came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ballspiel-Verein Preußen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnd Schätzle couldn't finish the play. Köchingen's Paul Amelung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnd Schätzle in the 94th minute of play. Köchingen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ballspiel-Verein Preußen for a fine match.
