Bonifatius Berkowitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Simeon Gust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simeon Gust stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifatius Berkowitz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. SV Leezdorf's Gernot Piltz got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Konermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Günther Ringels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Konermann in the 23rd minute of play forced SV Leezdorf's goalkeeper Günther Ringels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filippo Naber hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Werner Szurmant shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Günther Ringels showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SV Leezdorf's Günther Ringels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Konermann in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tim Konermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Leezdorf's Günther Ringels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gernot Piltz's late challenge caught a Kimmich FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernot Piltz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SV Leezdorf getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gernot Piltz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifatius Berkowitz in the 44th minute of play forced Kimmich FC's goalkeeper Simeon Gust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Günther Ringels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Konermann in the 45th minute of the match. Simeon Gust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Berkowitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Jukka Fensch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifatius Berkowitz was the one to do the kick off. If Jukka Fensch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, one of SV Leezdorf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sylvester Künast's late challenge caught a SV Leezdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylvester Künast helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kimmich FC's Sylvester Künast got a free kick in the 87th minute. SV Leezdorf were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Kimmich FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edson Dettinger took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jukka Fensch in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simeon Gust saved Kimmich FC from getting behind. In the 95th minute, SV Leezdorf's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Konermann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 98 minutes, Filippo Naber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Leezdorf and the Kimmich FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Kimmich FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SV Leezdorf from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
