Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ralph Thälmann got the match started through his kick off. Henglarn FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Ertl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 33 minutes of play, Westerhofen's Karl Ertl made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kai Boris Wegner was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Westerhofen's zone, Philipp Mostofizadeh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Kratz came out of the goal and Philipp Mostofizadeh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Ertl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kai Boris Wegner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Henglarn FSV reached it. 79 minutes into the match, Westerhofen's Karl Ertl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kai Boris Wegner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Ertl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Philipp Mostofizadeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Kratz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Westerhofen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
