After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Hansjörg Merk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blasiwald's supporters rose to their feet, but Hansjörg Merk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Ahlswede breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesper Weyerich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hohenweiden FC booed when Blasiwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Weyerich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Deuschle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Schmuck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Butz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timo Butz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timo Butz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, Hohenweiden FC's Jaden Kleiner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurt Deuschle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hohenweiden FC reached it. If Franz Schmuck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Deuschle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arndt Weiß in the 19th minute of the match. Tim Ahlswede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hansjörg Merk in the 25th minute. Blasiwald's Kurt Deuschle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arndt Weiß in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Blasiwald booed when Hohenweiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaden Kleiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hohenweiden FC's Walt Borak got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tim Ahlswede made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Hansjörg Merk sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hohenweiden FC! When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Blasiwald's Lukas Käppeler got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tim Ahlswede. Kurt Deuschle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arndt Weiß, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Benjamin Götzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tim Ahlswede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Ahlswede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Weyerich in the 44th minute of play. Franz Schmuck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arndt Weiß stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulrik Jüttner hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Hohenweiden FC defense, Jesper Weyerich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Ahlswede. The Hohenweiden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Ahlswede should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Hansjörg Merk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesper Weyerich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Ahlswede having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Blasiwald's goal looked a bit too open when Arndt Weiß came free, but Kurt Deuschle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Franz Schmuck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hohenweiden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Schmuck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Blasiwald's Jesper Weyerich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Ahlswede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kurt Deuschle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franz Schmuck in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Arndt Weiß took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kurt Deuschle to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Blasiwald's Kurt Deuschle got control of the ball when Franz Schmuck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blasiwald were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hohenweiden FC for a fine match.
