Hugo Mach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswald Notthoff in the 21st minute of play. Patrick Pahlke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Pahlke in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Mach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Langenbaum FC's Timo Langhammer got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Langenbaum FC's Omar Piepenburg got control of the ball when Mel Reck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Piepenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Rzepka in the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bayern's Ulrich Rzepka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Piepenburg. That made the score 1-2 after 46 minutes of play. After the first half Langenbaum FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ulrich Rzepka made the kick off in the second half. Omar Piepenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Rzepka in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, FC Bayern's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Langhammer came free, but Hugo Mach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralek Juncker's late challenge caught a FC Bayern's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Mach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Bayern's Hugo Mach got control of the ball when Timo Langhammer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Langenbaum FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Bayern throughout the match.
