After a defensive mix-up in TSV Brunsbüttel's zone, Fred Jordan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Kronimus came out of the goal and Fred Jordan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilhelm Kronimus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Bierkamp in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Fred Jordan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beckum FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Jordan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Kronimus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 played minutes Beckum FSV got a freekick which was hit by Franz Mix. Takeshi Wojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Krabbe in the 18th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Peter Köhn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Takeshi Wojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Köhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Krabbe couldn't finish the play.
