Kaspar Grevenbrock hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Oswald Notthoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langenbaum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oswald Notthoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Hofner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoph Möst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Omar Piepenburg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Justin Myszka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Piepenburg. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timo Langhammer made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Christoph Möst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barneckermoor FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Langenbaum FC booed when Barneckermoor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harold Harnack didn't get a good kick on the ball.
